We are categorized as a club, but we behave like a varsity sport and are a competitive cross country mountain bike team.
PRACTICES
OFFICIAL PRACTICES WILL START ON JANUARY 10, 2024
WEDNESDAY
3:45 PM - 5:45 PM
Meet at the basketball court between the tennis courts and the pool. Weather and darkness permitting.
SUNDAY
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Meet in downtown Mill Valley at the Depot. Weather permitting.
NORCAL + NICA RACING
The Tam High MTB Team races regionally in the NorCal League. NorCal is a Chapter League within the national organization called NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association). Their mission: We build strong minds, bodies, character, and communities through cycling.
OUR COACHES AND TEAM MANAGEMENT
The Tam High Mountain Bike team is run solely by super cool parent volunteers. Your head coaches, Matt, Tad and Joe are passionate mountain bikers with real jobs. They love seeing kids on bikes and dedicate their spare time to helping the team find success.
PARENT EXPECTATIONS: IT TAKES A VILLAGE
We can’t do it alone. If your child rides, we ask you help the team in any way you can. You’ll love it, trust us, it’s a blast.
RIDER EXPECTATIONS
Like all high school sports, as a member of a team there are certain expectations for our riders. Your commitment as a rider will lead to miles and miles of smiles.
